What is Crohn’s Disease?

HCrohn’s disease is a chronic, or long lasting disease that causes inflammation irritation or swelling – in the gastrointestinal (GI) tract. Most commonly Crohn’s affects the small intestine and the beginning of the large intestine. However, the disease can affect any part of the GI tract, from the mouth to the anus.

What is Ulcerative Colitis?

Ulcerative Colits is a chronic or long lasting, disease of the GI tract that causes inflammation, irritation or swelling and sores called ulcers on the inner lining of the large intestine.
